Week’s Best Celebrity Style: Ellie Goulding, Jourdan Dunn, Dianna Agron and more

By Ava Baccari

It was only a matter of time before the snow would start to melt and the first signs of spring made their way onto the red carpet – this week in the form of bright florals and bold embroidery spotted on trendsetters like Olivia Wilde and Elizabeth Olsen. As the style set decamped across the pond for London Fashion Week, it was the perfect occasion to flaunt fresh prints in anticipation of a new season ahead.

Seated front row at London-based Canadian designer Erdem's Fall 2016 runway show , former Glee actress Dianna Agron debuted her sparkling engagement ring for the first time. The actress became engaged to Mumford & Sons rocker Winston Marshall over the holidays, and gave her fans a peek at her stunning yellow-gold band and rose-cut diamond. To complement the delicate bling, the 29-year-old star channeled a perfect spring day in a pretty blue creation by the floral-flaunting designer.

Also in her home city this week was supermodel Jourdan Dunn, who rocked a floral-printed jumpsuit by Topshop Unique at the British label's fall show. British singer Ellie Goulding also slipped into homegrown fare as she donned a white lace Burberry dress and black peep-toe booties for Burberry Prorsum's intimate fall presentation. And over in Milan, Elizabeth Olsen showcased her feminine side in a lacy cream Gucci Resort dress, glamming up the look with chunky red heels to attend Gucci's Fall 2016 show at Milan Fashion Week.

Throughout the week, A-listers like Nicole Kidman chose freshly bloomed frocks when stepping out on the red carpet, while Karlie Kloss kept her look sophisticated and chic in a tailored Stella McCartney suit with embroidered detailing. Arizona Muse, on the other hand, went high-shine in a metallic Ralph & Russo number. It was a gorgeous display that proved Miranda Priestly's snippy comment from The Devil Wears Prada – "Florals? For spring? Groundbreaking" – is just that.
