Week's Best Celebrity Style: Amy Adams, Naomi Campbell, Diane Kruger and more

By Ava Baccari

It looks like sequins are a girl's best friend on the film festival and fashion week beat! Just ask celebs like Amy Adams, Naomi Campbell and Diane Kruger, who lit up the red carpet in high-shine metallic confections. Whether it’s studded in head-to-toe sparkles or a shiny eye-catching embroidery, these glittering evening gowns proved that all that glitters is definitely gold!

Before touching down in Toronto this week, Amy Adams made a splashy stop at the Venice Film Festival in a glitzy Tom Ford gown. The Nocturnal Animals star channeled Old Hollywood goddess vibes in the one-sleeve metallic number, which she paired with dazzling Bulgari jewelry.

Meanwhile, while in Deauville, France, Diane Kruger also looked to years of yore for inspiration in an Elie Saab couture gown printed with sequinned hearts. The German beauty added a leather belt over the romantic design, which cascaded all the way down the sheer overlay to reveal her chunky Elie Saab heels.

Naomi Campbell kept all eyes firmly locked on her dazzling colour-block Tom Ford gown. The supermodel rocked the partially sheer, plunging design - which featured a rainbow of earth-toned sequins - at the American designer’s fall 2016 show at New York Fashion Week.

Celebs kept the shimmery statement going strong all week, including Karlie Kloss (in silver Tom Ford), Dakota Fanning (in sequin Miu Miu), Suki Waterhouse (in rose-hued Dolce & Gabbana), and Keira Knightley (in sparkly denim Chanel). But it was mother-daughter duo Kim Kardashian and North West – in matching metallic Vetements ensembles, no less – who proved that neither a style queen nor her protégé need be outshone!
