How Bella Hadid’s style is different from sister Gigi’s

By hellofashion.com

Bella and Gigi Hadid are the fashion industry’s biggest sister duo as they are currently taking the modelling world by storm. And the girls are known for their effortless style both on and off the runway – as well as their striking good looks and supermodels physiques, of course.

Gigi favours a beachy, laid back California girl vibe, while Bella rocks a more edgy look, and in a recent interview with Elle, little sister Bella explained the difference in their styles. "I'm a little different than [Gigi] because ever since I was 14, I always wanted to wear black jeans and leather jackets," she said. "I looked at pictures of New York in the 70s and 80s and I thought that tough, city-girl look was so cool."

STORY: Bella and Gigi Hadid star in new Fendi and Moschino campaigns together

Bella recently moved to New York to further her modelling career, and revealed that she immediately felt at home thanks to her personal style – which had been heavily influenced by her friend Jesse Jo Stark. "She has the best style out of anyone I've ever met, I think, and I like to give credit where it's due," said Bella. "So she influenced me a lot. And when I moved to New York, it's like I already dressed the part."

Like any normal sisters, Bella and Gigi love to borrow each other's clothes – but it can also be a source of conflict, especially because they share the same shoe size!

"I literally just took a pair of striped Vans from Gigi," she said. "We have the same shoe size which is insane, I know. It can be dangerous." And what did Gigi take from her? "You know, this is what happens: she never tells me she's taking anything. But then I show up at her apartment and there's like a random t-shirt or a hoodie or something lying around, and it's mine," she laughed.

"And Gigi did not ask me if she could take it! She's sneaking off with my stuff!"
