Kendall Jenner says her family distracts her on the runway

By hellofashion.com

Kendall Jenner has become a regular on the runway at fashion shows around the world. And while she always looks poised and focused during her catwalk appearances, the model has admitted that she can be distracted when her family members are sitting in the front row.

"I've told myself since my first show, like I never look at the audience ever," Kendall said during an appearance on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. "No, no one. Like if I do, it will mess me up. It's kind of like being on stage, I guess, if you're a theatre actor. It's like if you look at something just to take you out of your zone."

However while she doesn't look at the audience, her younger sister Kylie Jenner and mum Kris let it be known that they're supporting her by cheering loudly. "Kylie, sometimes if she's at a show, her and my mom usually, I can hear them screaming and sometimes I'll smirk a little bit 'coz I can't hold it in, but I'll never look," Kendall admitted.

Kendall also said she loves the buzz of fashion month, despite surviving on little sleep. "It's really fun…you work all day and then people are like 'let's go out' there's no sleeping," she said. "The last three years have been awesome."

The 21-year-old looked stunning during her appearance on the US talk show, wearing a Chanel tweed mini skirt and matching cropped jacket, which she paired with nude court shoes and a crop top. Kendall also wore her newly chopped hair in a sleek centre-parted bob, just days after she debuted her new 'do on the runway at the La Perla show as part of New York Fashion Week.
