In the English remake of the French thriller Les liens du sang, Clive Owen and Billy Crudup play a pair of rival brothers -- one a pimp, the other a cop -- with the former somehow managing to be the family favourite.

Adapted from Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer Prize-winning play, August: Osage County tells the dark, hilarious story of a dysfunctional family of strong-minded women that has diverged, but is forced to reunite after a family crisis.

A Worldly Romance: Third Person
The latest from Canadian director Paul Haggis (Crash), the film follows the interlocking love stories of three very different couples in three of the most romantic cities in the world -- Rome, Paris and New York.

Sexy Sci-Fi: Under the Skin
Scarlett Johansson stars in the creepy, science-fiction thriller (directed by Jonathan Glazer) as an alien seductress who picks up male hitchhikers on the highways of Northern Scotland… and turns them into her human prey.

The star-studded Entertainment One party celebrates 29 films premiering at TIFF. Hosted at Toronto’s historic Roundhouse, more than 1,000 film industry guests and celebs will be walking the blue carpet from 9:30 to 11:30 pm.

CUBE nightclub hosts a raucous after-party for the cast and crew of Filthy Gorgeous, the documentary screening at TIFF about the man who tried to best Hugh Hefner, Penthouse Magazine founder Bob Guccione. Things start to heat up at 8:30 pm.
