Michael Bay attacked on 'Transformers' set in Hong Kong

Director Michael Bay sustained injuries to the side of his face after an attack in Hong Kong today during filming for the latest Transformers movie.

Two brothers reportedly approached Michael during filming and demanded payment of $100,000 HK ($12,900), a police spokesperson told Reuters. When he refused, one of the men struck Michael in the face.

Michael declined to seek treatment, believing his injuries were not serious, though three intervening police officers were sent to hospital.

The men have been arrested on suspicion of blackmail and assault.
