Jennifer Lawrence’s boyfriend Nicholas Hoult to star opposite Kristen Stewart in a romantic adaption of ‘1984’

Kristen Stewart and Nicholas Hoult have been cast as lovers in a remake of George Orwell’s classic dystopian novel, 1984.

Directed by Drake Doremus, Equals will re-imagine the well-known political sci-fi narrative as a futuristic love story.

Kristen, 23, says she's excited to begin filming later this year, but also expressed that she was overwhelming anxious over the film's broad scope.

"I can't believe I agreed to do it," the Twilight actress admitted in a recent interview. "I'm terrified of it … though it's a movie with a really basic concept, it's overtly ambitious."

Jennifer Lawrence , who is dating Nicholas and who appeared in the 2011 Drake-directed film Like Crazy, also read the script, but decided she would not be a good fit for the part. The lead ultimately went to Kristen.

"It's exciting to talk about the character with different people, but it became evident in my head that Nick and Kristen would have great chemistry,” explained Drake.

Jennifer and Nicholas have been romantically linked for more than a year. The attractive couple made their public debut at the 2014 Golden Globes, when the 23-year-old Oscar winner gave her British beau an on-camera kiss after winning Best Movie for American Hustle.

Kristen, meanwhile, has been in an on-again-off-again relationship with her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson since 2010.
