Canadian Screen Awards 2014: All the nominees

The stars are gearing up for the second annual Canadian Screen Awards, a two-hour event that honours the best in Canadian film, television and digital media next month.

The gala debuted in 2013, consolidating the formerly separate Genie Awards and Gemini Awards. Hosted by comic legend Martin Short, this year's awards will broadcast live from Toronto’s Sony Centre for the Performing Arts.

The nominees were announced in Toronto last month, with industry heavyweights like Jake Gyllenhaal, Daniel Radcliffe and Jay Baruchel expected to attend.

Jake is up for Best Actor for his role in Enemy, which has garnered 10 nominations in total, including for Best Picture. Meanwhile, U.K. actors Daniel Radcliffe and Brendan Gleeson are up for The F Word and The Grand Seduction, respectively.

Jay Baruchel ( The Art of the Steal) and Canadian actor Gordon Pinsent (The Grand Seduction) will vie for Best Supporting Actor.

The stars of popular Canadian television shows Rookie Blue, Bomb Girls, Continuum, Haven andVikings have also received nods from the Academy, including Ben Bass, Priscilla Faia, Matt Gordon, Meg Tilly, Katheryn Winnick, Luvia Petersen and Claudia Black.

Orphan Black leads the television nominations with 10 nods.

The show will air live on March 9, 2014 at 8 pm on CBC.
