“Hello! It's Will Ferrell. Let's keep it classy.”
So began the Anchorman actor’s hilarious reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Feb. 5., in which the comedian dished on everything from Mark Wahlberg’s unique scent (vanilla and leather) to how he was turned down for a role in Spiderman for being “too fat.”
Like George Clooney before him, Will was championing a cause on the social networking site, promoting a non-profit organization called Cancer For Change.
“I could have done my FIRST-EVER AMA for lots and lots and lots of things. Movies! My book! My sunscreen! My range of crocodile purses!” he said, before explaining why the World Cancer Day initiative was more important to him.
Even rapper Snoop Dogg got in on the Q&A action, singing in under the screen name "Here Comes The King" to ask Will if he'd like to add "more cowbell" on his next album (Will said he was “absolutely game.”)

On whether Mark Wahlberg smells nice: “Yes, it goes without saying. His scent is a pleasing combination of vanilla and leather.”
On who has the best derriere in the industry: “Well, according to Top Industry Butts Magazine we all know Bill Gates has held the top spot for three years running.”
On coming up with the hypnotizing headshake in A Night at the Roxbury: “I don't know exactly. I think it was Chris Kattan and myself just acting stupid in my apartment when we wrote that sketch for the Groundlings show that we were in at the time. It's also what happens when the beat of any Haddaway song hits your ear.”
On the non-comedic movie role he wished he’d landed: "It was down to me or Tobey Maguire for Spider-man and they harshly told me I was too fat for the suit. That having been said, every time I watch Spider-Man I still think I was the better actor for the role."
On his definition of ‘love’: "Love is a complicated thing to figure out. I don't know if anyone ever will. I know this much: I love lamp."
On his favorite SNL skit and his favorite cast member: "I will say that off the top of my head, the two favorite sketches that I was a part of had to have been the Harry Caray space show with Jeff Goldblum and, of course the cowbell sketch with Christopher Walken.
My favorite cast member to work with was Julia Louis-Dreyfus."
On the craziest Hollywood party he's ever been to: "Craziest Hollywood party was probably at the house of Dave Coulier right at the height of the Full House madness. This would've been '92. I was 2 years out of college.
When asked for a hint of what he’s working on next: "I can give you more than a hint. I can just flat out tell you. I will be starting a movie in March with Kevin Hart in which he helps me get ready to go to prison."
