Farmer Chris Soules will find love as the new Bachelor

Hay is for horses, but say hey to The Bachelors latest single stud: Chris Soules.

Fans of The Bachelorette will remember "Farmer Chris" from the 10th season, where the Iowa farmer vied for a rose from Andi Dorfman week after week.

The news was announced on Good Morning America, ending speculation on who the lucky man could be. Prior to the announcement, reports stated that the two frontrunners were 32-year-olds Chris and Arie Lyendyk Jr, but Arie revealed in a tweet this week that he was no longer up for the role.

I’m not the Bachelor, have fun on the farm people,” Arie wrote.

When Good Morning Americaasked about his previous experience and why he has elected to put himself through the show once more, he stated, “I believe in the process, I believe in what I went through on the previous show, and that’s why I’m doing it.”
