‘Friends’ haunt Central Perk will open as a pop-up shop this fall

It's time for Friendsfans to form their own coffee-shop memories á la Chandler, Ross, Monica, Rachel, Joey and Phoebe.

Central Perk, the beloved coffee joint that was a meeting grounds for the six friends and hosted some of Phoebe's most iconic musical performances, is becoming a brick-and-mortar location for a month in NYC this fall.

To celebrate the sitcom’s 20th anniversary, the pop-up café will hand out free cups of Eight O’Clock Coffee, including a limited-edition Central Perk roast.

It’s going to feel quite true to the show, with the iconic orange couch and Gunther - orJames Michael Tyler, who played the surly, Rachel-obsessed barista, is set to make a few appearances during the month.

It’s a veritable Friends-giving celebration, complete with musical performances (perhaps something in the key of Phoebe's "Smelly Cat"?), giveaways and merchandise. Bring your favourite oversized coffee mug.

The café is open from Sept. 17 to Oct. 18 and is located in SoHo at 199 Lafayette St.
