What a whirlwind it’s been for Julianne Moore! Just one week after winning Best Actress at the 87th annual Academy Awards, the stunning star is slated to present at the Canadian Screen Awards, a glamorous, two-hour event that honours the best in Canadian film, television and digital media.
The busy Still Alice actress celebrated her success at the Oscars last Sunday by partying all night with husband Bart Freundlich by her side – before heading straight to the airport for a flight back to New York to start work on her next film, Maggie's Plan.

Sure enough, on Tuesday (Feb. 24) Julianne was pictured with her new co-star Ethan Hawke filming at an outdoor ice rink in Brooklyn for the upcoming romantic comedy.
The 54-year-old beauty is next expected to arrive in Toronto for the CSAs this weekend, where she’ll be joined on the red carpet by other big names such as Diego Klatenhoff, Kim Cattrall, Sarah Gadon, Eugene Levy, Tatiana Maslany, A.J. Cook, George Stroumboulopoulos and more.
It’s been a good year so far for Julianne, who aside from her Oscar win for Still Alice is also nominated for a CSA for her role in David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars.
Maps to the Stars has 11 nominations in total, including Best Motion Picture and Best Director for David.
Hosted by comedy legend Andrea Martin, the CSAs will take place at Toronto’s Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts and will be broadcast live on the CBC on Sunday, March 1 at 8 pm.
