'Tomorrowland' star Britt Robertson escaped prankster George Clooney

By Clare Douglas

In Disney’s new adventure film, Tomorrowland(in theatres May 22), Britt Robertson teams up with George Clooney to save the world from an impending apocalypse. When Hello! caught up with the North Dakota native, 25, she couldn’t help but gush about her handsome co-star and his ability to keep things light on set. He had her at hello, but when it came to George’s famous prankster ways, Britt was quick to inform him that she was off limits.

I don’t play the pranks game,” she says. “I didn’t even tell him that early on. I think he just picked it up from my vibe. He was like ‘she doesn’t look like a girl who enjoys pranks.'” When the Gravity star recalled his past success stories – convincing his Monument’s Men co-star Matt Damon that he was gaining weight by changing the size of his pants; filling Bill Murray’s suitcases with 11 pounds of gravel – Britt says she told George, “I would kill you if you did that to me. I would make a lot of people very angry by hurting you!”

Britt has been busy as a bee with two films out in 2015 - Tomorrowland and The Longest Ride - and another, Cook, on the way. In addition to working alongside George, the rising star has appeared in films with Steve Carrell and Vince Vaughan.
