Rachel McAdams honours Jake Gyllenhaal at the Guys Choice Awards

Rachel McAdams looked stunning in a sharply geometric pencil dress by Roland Mouret as she helped pay tribute to Jake Gyllenhaal - her co-star in the upcoming gritty drama Southpaw- at the 2015 Spike TV Guys Choice Awards. She presented the Oscar-nominated actor with the night’s ‘Guy Con’ prize.

Other award winners included Salma Hayek, who received the ‘Decade of Hotness’ trophy - one she now shares with former recipients Jennifer Aniston, Charlize Theron and Sandra Bullock- and ‘Guy of the Year’ Chris Pratt.

Jake and Rachel’s reunion on stage at the Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City came hours after the release of new promo material for their hotly anticipated boxing film. In the never-before-seen poster and trailer, the actors' electric chemistry is on full display in an emotional embrace between husband-and-wife team Billy and Maureen Hope.

The steamy poster for Southpaw sees Jake and Rachel in a heartfelt embrace.

Reports that their onscreen relationship spilled into their personal lives surfaced after the two were spotted in Pittsburgh (where the movie was filmed) enjoying numerous quiet dinners together. They have since met up on several occasions in Los Angeles and New York.

But if they are an item, the duo is playing it coy. During a sit-down with Ellen DeGeneresin April, the Brokeback Mountain star revealed that he was single and joked that his mother likes to play matchmaker. "My mother thinks arranged marriages might be able to work. She thinks that if she picked for me that I'd do a lot better."

Single or not, one thing that's a sure bet where Rachel is concerned is that she knows how to keep it friendly with her ex-loves. The Aloha star joined Michael Sheen at LA’s Meltdown Comics and Collectibles for a special event celebrating the work of graphic novelist and screenwriter Daniel Clowes. The pair, who dated for two years before going their separate ways in 2013, didn’t shy away from taking pictures together and were seen having a nice chat. Michael is now in a relationship with comedian Sarah Silverman and Rachel was last spotted with boyfriend Patrick Sambrook back in November, 2014.
