Jennifer Lopez's Carpool Karaoke wins with star-studded phone and Leonardo DiCaprio

By Gemma Strong

James Corden's latest Carpool Karaoke features an exceptionally well-connected guest: Jennifer Lopez. After belting out some of the pop star's biggest hits (think "Booty" and "Jenny From The Block") James asked Jennifer who the most famous person is her phone is, and that's when the fun really began.

It turns out the singer has a number of stars in her contact list – from Bradley Cooper to The Rock, Demi Lovato and Cristiano Ronaldo - and as the list continued, James had to pull over the car in his excitement.

"Oh my god, hang on, I've got to see this," the 37-year-old said, stopping the car and taking the phone to see for himself. "This is the best phone I've ever seen in my life. This is insane. Fergie, Iggy Azalea…"

James then decided to send a text to a celebrity of his choice – and he chose none other than A-list actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

After a small discussion, he typed out the message: "Hey baby, I'm kind of feeling like I need to cut loose. Any suggestions? Let me know. J.Lo, you know, from the block."

"I'm not going to let you send that," Jennifer laughed, but it was too late: James had already hit send.

And it wasn't long before they had a reply. "He wrote back!" Jennifer said. "No way. No, he did not!" James exclaimed.

"He said, 'You mean tonight, boo boo? Club wise?'" Jennifer read out as her host erupted with laughter. "See, here's the funny part is that he actually thinks I'm serious," the star added.

"I love that he wants you to cut loose. That guy is the best!" James said.
