The cast were last seen revitalizing their characters when they performed an election themed mini-episode released in 2016, which sparked rumours of a possible series revival.
The ninth season will reunite the original stars of the hilarious television show including Debra Messing, Megan Mullally, Eric McCormack, and Sean Hayes. The show will also bring back director and executive producer James Burrow, who is the brains behind others classic sitcoms like Friends,Frasier and Cheers.
Over the course of its eight-year run, the critically-acclaimed show earned 16 Primetime Emmy Awards. It also broke down barriers in Hollywood for the LGBTQ community, as it was the first show to feature a gay man as a series regular.
Will & Grace is the latest classic show to make a hotly anticipated comeback. Netflix rebooted Full House and Gilmore Girls and earlier this week Fox debuted another chapter of Prison Break.
