Brad Pitt stars in second trailer for London Film Festival closing film, Fury

Brad Pitt shows tough love to Logan Lerman in the second trailer for the much anticipated Fury, a World War II drama that will close out the 2014 London Film Festival.

Set in the final months of the war in the heart of Nazi Germany, Fury follows Brad's battle-weary sergeant Wardaddy and the tank which he calls home.The film introduces a new assistant driver to the team, played by Perks of Being a Wallflower star Logan Lerman, who is new to the war and unused to the terror.

This second trailer takes the viewer on the dark journey these men go through, with Wardaddy telling the new driver: "I promised my crew a long time ago I would keep them alive... I need you to perform. "The tanks five-man crew are sent on a deadly mission where they find themselves alone, outgunned and outnumbered, behind enemy lines.

Filmed entirely in the British countryside, the film is directed by David Ayer and also stars The Walking Dead's Jon Bernthal, The Avengers' Mark Ruffalo, and Shia LaBeouf.

In order to maintain authenticity, a British D-Day veteran was personally invited to the set by Brad.

Peter Comfort, 90, met the Hollywood superstar but admitted he had to use Google beforehand to find out who Brad was. "Mr Pitt was very friendly and charming actually but I didn't know who he was," the WWII veteran said.

The cast and crew of Fury also sent a message of support last Thursday to Prince Harry and the upcoming Invictus Games.

"Having played a tank troop we want to show our support for the Invictus Games and our wounded warriors," said Brad in the short 30-second clip.

"It's going to be really inspirational event and so we hope everyone will join us in getting behind the Invictus Games," added young actor Logan.

The four stars then send a special message just for the British athletes: "Bring it on!"
