One of fashion’s most attractive couples, Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, have teamed up for a new beauty campaign as the new faces of beauty brand La Mer. The Flare magazine cover models, who tied the knot in June, have announced their new role with a short video as part of the brands Illuminating Moments campaign.
Olivia, 28, gave fans a sneak peek of the short film on her Instagram account, revealing that she had been particularly excited to work with her husband.
“It’s official, our video for La Mer is out,” she captioned the video. “I had an amazing day shooting with my husband @johanneshuebl for La Mer in New York, surrounded by all their beautiful skincare.”
In the video, the stylish couple are getting ready for a night out in New York, exchanging loved-up glances and smiles as they prep their skin and choose what to wear. The final scene sees an intimate moment between the pair as Olivia straightens up her husband’s tie, beaming as she gazes into her husband’s eyes.
With everything from the high fashion outfits to Olivia’s flawless glamorous make-up and hair, it feels like the clip could have been taken from the power couple’s real life.
Although Olivia is renowned more for her effortlessly chic sense of style rather than her love of make-up, the fashionista revealed that she is a big fan of experimenting with beauty products.
“My appreciation for beauty started from my mother at a young age,” the pretty socialite told the Telegraph. “I think it’s extremely important to take care of your skin, especially not going to bed with make-up on, you’ll have it for at least 70 or 80 years.”
“For me beauty is just as important as any outfit,” she added. “Whether it’s skincare, make-up or hair – beauty is like an accessory to yourself and how you’re put together.”
