Red carpet season is officially in full swing. The SAGs kicked it off, followed by the Golden Globes and the Critic's Choice Awards, and we're already seeing quite a few beauty trends emerging on leading ladies like Keira Knightley, Amal Clooney and Claire Danes.

Yes, Keira Knightley, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for her role in The Imitation Game, has a newly pregnant glow - but her radiance is also due in part to Chanel makeup artist Kate Lee, who perfected the star's romantic, cranberry lips and rosy cheeks.

It's a knockout beauty look reminiscent of Veronica Lake and Marilyn Monroe (circa Seven Year Itch) - and Jessica Chastain nailed it. The A Most Violent Year actress, who was nominated for her third Golden Globe, chose a sultry, smoky eye to complement her Atelier Versace gown and classic Old Hollywood hairstyle.
