Shakira's adorable son Sasha looks just like his daddy

Shakira’s little boy Sasha may be just three months old, but it’s already perfectly clear whose little boy he is (and fans were quick to notice!). Shakira shared a sweet new pic on her Facebook page, and the little cutie is the spitting image of his father, Gerard Piqué, who’s married to the Colombian pop star.

“Sasha out for a stroll!” Shakira captioned the sweet snap, which showed Sasha gazing up at his mother as they went for a walk in the sunshine.

Shakira herself made the comparison between Sasha and Gerard in March, sharing a photo on Instagram of her little tot and Gerard as a baby.

The Waka Waka hit maker posted the sweet snap to celebrate Father’s Day in Spain, and wrote: “Padre e hijo. Feliz día del padre! Shak,” in Spanish, which is literally translated as “Father and son. Happy Father’s Day! Shak”.

The phrase “De tal palo tal astilla” was also written across the photo collage, which is a common phrase in Colombia that means a child behaves like their father.

Before Sasha’s birth, the philanthropic couple threw an international baby shower for Sasha, through UNICEF, and the results of their success were astonishing, with over £101,000, approximately $184,000 CAD, being raised for the charity, thanks to donations from Shakira and Gerard’s fans.

Shakira and the FC Barcelona football player had asked people to donate money and supplies to UNICEF and help less privileged children around the world, instead of receiving gifts for their own newborn Sasha.

“Gerard and I are so happy to know that so many kids will benefit from the generosity of all of those who have participated in the World Baby Shower movement,” said Shakira, who has been a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF since 2003.

We’ve raised enough polio vaccines to be able to vaccinate 40,000 children and enough therapeutic food packets to feed another 15,000 – among other things that will now go to children in need,” she said.
