Josh Duhamel's adorable son Axl learns to count on camera

Josh Duhamel gave fans a treat on Thursday (April 30) when he shared the most adorable video of his little boy, Axl, learning to count. In it, the Transformers actor and his son take turns reciting numbers from one to ten.

“Counting with Dad,” Josh captioned the video, which showed one-year-old Axl showing off his blonde curls while lying contentedly on his dad’s chest.

Making great progress, Axl can be heard counting from one to seven before eagerly jumping to nine.

Proud dad Josh couldn’t resist sharing the video of little Axl learning to count

“1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 8, 9, KUNG,” proud dad Josh later added in a comment, in reference to the amusing way Axl pronounced the number ten.

The pair round off the video by singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

Josh, who married Black Eyed Peas star Fergie in 2009, occasionally shares photos of the couple’s only child, while his 40-year-old wife more regularly posts snaps of the little boy.

Last week, the California-born singer took to Instagram to share an adorable throwback photograph of Axl taken at Easter.

The picture shows the toddler looking sharp in a white pinstripe Armani suit, some cute converse shoes and a pair of bunny ears.

What made the snapshot all the sweeter is the fact that proud mummy Fergie had handpicked the outfit before Axl had even been born.

Fergie shared a snap of her son wearing an Armani suit she bought for him before he was born

I picked this @armani suit for axl in milan while axl was still in my belly,” she captioned the image. “It was special to see him wear it on easter. #tbt.”

Fergie and Josh married on 10 January 2009 and welcomed Axl Jack Duhamel on 29 August 2013.

The little boy’s name is believed to have been inspired by Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose. Fergie is known to be a big fan of the American rock band and even performed their famous hit Sweet Child O’ Mine with guitarist Slash during the Black Eyed Peas’ Super Bowl halftime show in 2011.
