Get the look: How Kate was so radiant leaving the hospital with Princess Charlotte

Less than 24 hours after being admitted to the hospital in labour, the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, emerged with newborn Princess Charlotte in her arms. Royal watchers were wowed by Kate’s fresh appearance, as she stepped out on the front steps of the Lindo Wing looking impossibly radiant – despite having just given birth to her second royal baby.

Sporting a yellow-and-white, bespoke Jenny Packham dress, the glowing mom wore her brunette tresses in their usual glamorous, tumbling curls as she smiled and waved for the cameras.

Kate stayed true to her signature makeup look, sporting dark eyeshadow, eyeliner, coral lipstick and blush. It's thought that the Duchess did her own makeup, as she has done on other major occasions, like her wedding to Prince William.

Of course, Kate, 33, was not without help in the beauty department. Hairdresser Amanda Cook Tucker reportedly entered the Lindo Wing a few hours prior to ensure that Kate’s waves were perfectly coiffed before stepping out to greet fans.

Amanda, who had reportedly styled the Duchess of Cambridge after George was born, is one of Kate’s most trusted friends and was seen arriving at the hospital armed with curlers, serums and other essential supplies.

The hairstylist chose a tighter coil this time, styling the duchess’ hair in big, bouncy ringlets and opting for a dark, glossy hue with high shine.

Fans will recall that Kate wore her hair in a straighter, more blown-out fashion with copper highlights when she emerged with George in 2013.

From regal ponytails to half-updos, Prince George’s stylish mom looks gorgeous in any style she wears, but the mother-of-two has a clear preference for bombshell-worthy waves.
