Cameron Diaz has dazzled the world with her bright smile and striking looks, claiming the title of beauty icon long ago, so it's no wonder she's the one famous friends turn to for makeup advice. One such pal is Gwyneth Paltrow, who named Cameron as her beauty mentor and the longtime source of her best tips.

"Cameron Diaz is probably my biggest beauty mentor of my friends," the mother-of-two told Elle. "She knows how to do her own hair and make-up."

Gwyneth also credits Cameron for having shared her best beauty secrets when the pair were still starting out in the world of Hollywood – tips which the Goop entrepreneur still follows to this day.

"And she was the one who really taught me how to do my own hair and make-up back in the day so she's my biggest beauty mentor," the Iron Man 3 actress said. "There are lots of tips – I can't remember them off the top of my head."

Cameron often dazzles fans with her effortlessly chic beauty looks

It's not just her friends who are in awe of Cameron's radiant complexion. The Bad Teacher actress caused a stir on social media when she gave her 1.9 million Instagram followers a sneak peek of the cover of her book The Longevity Book, for which she opted to go completely make-up free.

The striking image sees a close-up of the blonde beauty looking as fresh-faced as ever, her famous blonde locks swept back to show off her healthy and glowing skin.

"HELLO Again, Ladies! I am so excited I can barely contain myself!! As soon as I saw it myself, I wanted to share with you the cover of THE LONGEVITY BOOK," Cameron wrote in the snap's accompanying caption. "I am so proud of this book and very much looking forward to engaging us all in a new conversation about aging–how to do it with strength, grace, health and wisdom."
