Gwyneth Paltrow revealed she feels more confident as she gets older

"I was a mess in my 20s! I would never want to go back," Gwyneth told People. "I'm so thankful to be where I am."

The blonde beauty confessed that she felt the last few years had given her a "phenomenal" boost of confidence – and it's no wonder, with the star regularly flooring fans on and off the red carpet with her striking natural beauty and chic ensembles.

"I wish more women had told me that at 40 you sort of stop worrying about what other people think about you and you come into yourself in the most phenomenal way," she continued. "I think the 40s are such a gift, and I feel more beautiful now than I did 10 years ago or 20 years ago".

She added: "I think even though physically I don't look like I did when I was 25, I feel beautiful because I feel like myself."

The star recently launched an all-organic make-up range

It's been an exciting few weeks for the Oscar-winning actress, who launched a new all-natural make-up range with Juice Beauty earlier this year. Gwyneth admitted she was first inspired to create the line after she researched the ingredients of the make-up she was wearing.

"I wear make-up heavily in my work, and now that I'm post-40, I've started to wear it more often in my day-to-day life," she told Forbes. "But once my lifestyle website, Goop, started investigating toxicity in these products… I was stunned. I genuinely thought make-up as safe, but that's not the case."

The star has since revealed she will also be teaming with the brand to create an organic skincare range.
