Lady Gaga to perform in space

Lady Gaga is out of this world!

No, really: The eccentric superstar has announced she will perform in space in 2015, becoming the first music artist to do so.

Scheduled as part of the three-day, Zero G Colony Galactic Music Experience festival in New Mexico, the Artpop singer will board a Virgin Galactic flight to the edge of the earth's stratosphere to perform just one song, which will be beamed back to fans on earth.

Gaga will undergo additional vocal training before her galactic performance; apparently singing in zero gravity is a bit different than singing on earth (the pop star’s galactic flight will reach an altitude of 100km).

We didn’t think Lady Gaga could outdo herself but, apparently, we were wrong! What will a space performance sound like? Will there be floating backup dancers? And, more importantly, what will Lady Gaga wear in the cosmos?
