The MuchMusic Video Awards are always a traffic-stopping cavalcade of celebrity sightings, chart-topping hits and the high-energy screams of adoring fans.
This year was no exception, and the non-stop fun didn’t quit at the intersection of Queen and John in downtown Toronto.
The Rockstar Hotel after-party at Toronto's Spoke Club played host to Hello! Canada's star-studded portrait studio, entertaining musicians like Marianas Trench, Royal Wood, Karl Wolf, 4 Count, Quiet Riot’s Frankie Banali and 98 Degrees-singer Jeff Timmons.
Celebrity photographer Paul Alexander was on hand snapping some of the night's biggest stars as they filed through our studio, getting playful with talent like Karl Wolf, Poor Young Things and Shawn Hook to draw out a series of fun and expressive portraits.

Guests noshed on ice cream and those with a nagging sweet tooth kept the sugar flowing thanks to an old-school candy spread packed with gum balls and sour gummies.
From the sand to the beach balls, the party resembled a Miami beach escape, accompanied by summery snacks like fresh-off-the-barbecue burgers and hot dogs.
And to cool down after a hot night, SKYY vodka whipped up some seriously haute slushies with a boozy kick. It was, after all, a party fit for rock stars.
