Beyoncé and Jay Z top the ‘Forbes’ list of top-grossing celebrities

Forbes magazine has named Beyoncé number 1 on its annual Celebrity 100 list, which measures the monetary success and social influence of buzzworthy A-listers.

The “XO” singer is reported to have taken home an estimated $115 million between June 2013 and June 2014, thanks in part to album sales, touring, Pepsi and H&M endorsements, her clothing label House of Dereon and an expanding fragrance empire.

According to Forbes, Beyoncé raked in an average of $2.4 million per tour stop over the last year.

Jay Z also clinches a top-ten spot, resting comfortably in sixth place with estimated earnings in the ballpark of $60 million. His massive annual take-home comes from sales of his cognac, D’Ussé, a burgeoning Roc Nation business, touring and earnings from his 40/40 nightclub.
