Justin Bieber flaunts his abs and talks Canadian must-haves

By Sarah Kelsey

A rather sexy Justin Bieber has landed himself a coveted September cover with Cosmopolitan. For the spot, the crown prince of pop poses shirtless inside an empty warehouse and flexes his muscles while engaging in weight training, boxing and some serious push-ups.

Showcasing his six-pack abs, Justin is clad only in black-and-white shorts and a freshly coiffured hairdo. The 21-year-old also partakes in a rapid-fire interview with Cosmo’s editors, opening up about everything from his fears to his first kiss. It turns out we didn't know as much about Justin Drew Bieber as we thought we did.

For example, the person he really wants to collaborate with is John Mayer and his go-to karaoke song is “Let It Be” by The Beatles.

Other fun facts we learned about the crooner include his love of Scandal, his dislike of gladiator sandals and his loathing of slow Internet connections. He also opened up about some of the Canadian items he can’t live without: ketchup chips, Tim Hortons doughnuts and poutine. The one thing he shared that he says Beliebers don’t know about him is that he can hold his breath underwater for two minutes.

The interview comes on the heels of the big news that Justin is set to release his first single in three years. He revealed the details to Ryan Seacrest on his radio show saying, “The first single is amazing. I worked really hard on it.” Called "What Do You Mean," the tune explores the star’s confusion around dating and will appear on his hotly anticipated fourth album.

Justin has enlisted some famous friends to help hype the September release of the hotly anticipated track, including Ashley Benzo, Ariana Grande, Shaquille O'Neal and Kylie Jenner.
