Justin Bieber and Bryan Adams perform duet in Germany

Two of Canada’s biggest musical exports shared a stage this week when Justin Bieber and Bryan Adams teamed up for a special gig at the Universal Inside 2015 conference in Berlin. With Bryan on guitar, Justin belted out an acoustic performance of his hit song, “Baby.”

The 21-year-old pop star was in town promoting his upcoming fourth album, which features his current number-one single“What Do You Mean,” while Bryan is gearing up to deliver his 13th album,Get Up, on Oct. 16. The Universal Music label-mates have never worked together before, but based on their recent jam session, fans are sure to be clamoring for an Adams/Bieber collaboration.

Dressed in his signature hoodie and hiding his new platinum-blond hair, the Stratford native encouraged the audience to sing along to the single that propelled him into stardom in 2010. “It’s an oldie but a goodie,” said Justin before taking to the microphone. Bryan, who is known for his raspy voice, added his signature touch to the single by joining in on the chorus.

“Canadians in Germany,” tweeted Justin, whose following on the social media site has grown to a massive 67.5 million. Father-of-two Bryan also documented the Canuck love fest on Instagram by sharing a fun video of Justin showing off his skateboarding skills backstage.

Following his appearance in Berlin, Justin jetted off to Paris to do more promo for his album. And after opening up about heartbreak on an Australian radio program earlier this month, perhaps the singer might just find that special someone in the city of love. “I’m a relationship type of guy,” he said, adding, “I love to be in love and I love cuddling, and I love all of that kind of stuff. But I got my heart broken and so I'm just trying to let that heal up.”
