Alessia Cara made her new video for the rebellious anthem “Wild Things” a friendship affair by recruiting her closest pals to help her bring the song to life. The feel-good video is an ode to carefree adventures (think inking matching tattoos, dancing around a bonfire and hanging out on a deserted beach) and sees the Canadian singer return home to reunite with her squad. The powerful track is the second single off of the 19-year-old’s debut album Know-It-All.
The Brampton native introduces the song by sharing her definition of "wild things.” “To me where the wild things are is a place that exists in our minds. It’s a place of liberty and shamelessness. It can take a split second or a lifetime to find it but once you do, you’ll be free.”

The new video comes on the heels of Alessia’s first headlining tour of North America. The singer-songwriter is set to jet off to Europe later this month for a group of shows before returning to Canada to perform at the 2016 Juno Awards on Apr. 3. Alessia is up for four awards at the annual bash, which will be broadcast live from Calgary’s Scotiabank Saddledome. Drake, The Weeknd and Justin Bieber round out the list of top nominees.
Last year when Alessa stopped by the Hello! Canada offices, she joked that since so many Canadians are dominating the music charts right now, they should band together and form a super group. "We can just call it Oh! Canada!"
