African teenager delivers the most amazing rendition of Celine Dion's 'Power of Love'

Celine Dion has one of the most powerful voices on earth, but a 17-year-old Gabonese teenager named Samuel is proving to be some stiff competition. A video of the young African talent performing the Canadian singer's hit single "Power of Love" has gone viral, and rightfully so.

Sitting on a staircase in his apartment building, Samuel performs an a cappella rendition of the love song in French and English. His talent is undeniable, as the teen nails all of Celine's notes.

The video was posted on Facebook by local Gabonese blogger Barack Nyare Mba. He later spoke to French 24 about the video, which has been viewed more than one million times, and how Samuel and his family responded to him sharing the performance without his permission. "I went to meet with his family this week. They were very surprised to my approach, but happy for their son who has received many serious proposals from producers."

Celine Dion will surely be impressed by Samuel's interpretation of her song.

As for Samuel, the teen is trying to come to terms with his newfound fame, telling French 24, "Where I live in Libreville, people recognize me on the street and want to say hello. I absolutely do not know how to handle it," but adds that his dream is to become a professional singer.
