Smitten royals share the look of love

Royal couples are known for maintaining pomp and pageantry while carrying out engagements and seldom engage in any forms of PDA. But even the most proper princes and princesses, dukes and duchesses and kings and queens can't help but let their love and adoration for their partner shine through.

Following Prince William and Kate's wedding in 2011, the world was smitten with the newlyweds and couldn't wait to see the pair take on their first tour together shortly after their fairytale nuptials. When the newlyweds touched down in Canada in July 2011 they were met by enthusiastic crowds of well wishers across the country. Even though they were representing the Queen and on official duty, Will and Kate couldn't shake the honeymoon phase and were often spotted cuddling and joking around.

After more than six-decades of marriage, the Queen and Prince Philip still have eyes only for each other. The complementary pair are always delighted to be in each other's company and almost always perform engagements together. It is clear with every glance they share, the monarch is still deeply devoted to the man whom she describes as her "strength and stay."

The Windsors aren't the only royals who can't contain their smitten ways. Denmark's Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary, Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco and Sweden's Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel all share the look of love.
