King Frederik
King Frederik X succeeded his mother Queen Margrethe as Denmark's monarch on 14 January 2024.
He had previously been Crown Prince of Denmark since the age of three.
On 14 May 2004, Frederik married Australian-born Mary Donaldson.
The couple have four children - Crown Prince Christian, Princess Isabella and twins, Prince Vincent and Princess Josephine.
Frederik also has a younger brother, Prince Joachim.
