Prince George marks another year this Friday (July 22) as the little royal turns three - and his party is sure to be a blowout. Parents Prince William and Kate will likely follow bashes of previous years with an event fit for a future king.
Doting mum Kate, who took George on his first official UK engagement earlier this month, may turn to her own mother Carole for help. The Middleton matriarch is an event-planning expert and the founder of her company Party Pieces.
As Kate worked for the family business, the pair will know a thing or two about creating magical parties at home.
George is a big fan of Peppa Pig and Fireman Sam, as Kate has previously revealed, so his party could be focused around one of these children's favourites. Other potential themes include pirates, space, the Gruffalo, Thomas and Friends and PAW Patrol, an animated series about dogs.
The young royal is an animal lover and has a family pet dog Lupo, a cocker spaniel, as well as a hamster Marvin, who he shares with his younger sister Princess Charlotte.
George is at the age where he will have a better understanding about birthdays, and may even be bursting with excitement at the thought of presents.
Popular gifts for the future King would be toy cars or tractors. Kate, 34, has previously said that George is obsessed with anything that has wheels or a motor, and the little Prince already owns a few toy tractors.
The festivities are expected to take place at the Cambridges' country home Anmer Hall, so that the Duke and Duchess can welcome some of their closest Norfolk-based friends.
Little guests – probably including cousins Mia Tindall, Savannah and Isla Phillips and some of George's new chums from nursery – will meanwhile be able to run riot in the extensive grounds.
