Prince Harry's girlfriend Meghan Markle has been photographed outside Kensington Palace after jetting to London to be with her royal boyfriend. The Suits star was spotted at the palace gates returning from a solo trip to Whole Foods after picking up some groceries..

The American-born actress, 35, blended into London's busy streets, dressed casually in a black jacket and black Hunter wellington boots. On her head, she wore a brown baseball cap - recognized as being one Prince Harry often wears.

After stocking up on some healthy essentials from the celeb-favoured Whole Foods, Meghan wandered back to Harry's Kensington Palace home, Nottingham Cottage.

As Hello! reported previously, on Tuesday the handsome prince made the unprecedented step of speaking out to confirm his new relationship and to urge members of the media and public to respect the privacy of his girlfriend.

The 32-year-old released the statement via his communications secretary in response to the harassment, "sexism and racism" he said Meghan had received since news of their romance broke.

In the lengthy, heartfelt post, Harry acknowledged that there is "significant curiosity about his private life" but appealed to fair-minded people to respect Meghan's privacy. He is also "worried" and "deeply disappointed that he has not been able to protect" the Toronto-based actress.

Meghan and Prince Harry have been dating since the summer

Harry and Meghan secretly started dating over the summer after meeting through mutual friends. A source told Hello! they were introduced via Misha Nonoo, the fashion designer former wife of one of Harry’s school friends, old Etonian Alexander Gilkes.
