Prince William cooks up a storm during visit to Sunderland for Centrepoint

visited Sunderland and South Shields on Friday in his role as patron of homelessness charity, Centrepoint.
The Duke of Cambridge toured the Dundas Street centre's facilities, which were the charity's first purpose built accommodation, took part in a cooking lesson and talked to young people the charity has helped about the link between youth homelessness and employment.

Later in the day William officially opened the Haven Point leisure centre in South Shields.
The 31-year-old Prince was shown around the centre where he saw children taking part in the Learn to Swim Programme, spoke to talented local swimmers and watched water survival training and resuscitation.
's dad then attended a Diana Award Inspire Day, speaking to 30 young people taking part in workshops focusing on anti-bullying and employability skills.
It's been a busy week of engagements for William who stepped out with his wife Kate Middleton
on Tuesday as they paid a visit to crime prevention charity, Only Connect
