Prince William and Kate cheer on Andy Murray at Wimbledon final

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge headed to Wimbledon on Sunday to support Andy Murray as he faced Milos Raonic in the final of the tennis tournament. Leaving Prince George and Princess Charlotte at home, the couple enjoyed an afternoon in the sun as they cheered on the tennis champion during the nail-biting match.

Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge attended Wimbledon on Sunday

The Duchess, née Kate Middleton turned heads in a chic gown from Alexander McQueen with short sleeves and a colourful pattern including a variety of designs from fruit to lipstick.

The mother-of-two accessorised her ensemble with a chic neutral box clutch bag from L.K. Bennett and a pair of statement gold earrings, leaving her brunette tresses worn down in one of her trademark blow-dry hairstyles.

The Duchess wowed in an Alexander McQueen gown

Prince William and Kate were joined by a host of famous faces for the highly-anticipated final. Benedict Cumberbatch and his wife Sophie were spotted enjoying some quality time together at the tennis, while Bradley Cooper and his supermodel girlfriend Irina Shayk also made an appearance.

Sat just a few seats away from each other, Bradley and Benedict quickly shook hands and had a quick chat before the start of the match.

Meanwhile, Andy's wife Kim was spotted cheering on her husband, upping the style stakes in a chic yellow dress with floral embellishment on the shoulders.

Renowned for her love of sports, Kate had already attended Wimbledon on Thursday to watch the women's semi-finals. Ever the style icon, the mother-of-two turned heads in a gorgeous yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress, paired with nude court shoes.

Kim Murray turned heads in a yellow gown

Eagle-eyed royal enthusiasts quickly noted that the British royal had recycled the eye-catching gown, having previously worn it when she arrived in Sydney for her royal tour of Australia in April 2014.

Kate is a regular fixture at Wimbledon, and in 2015 she attended the quarter finals alongside Prince William, just weeks after welcoming her daughter Princess Charlotte.
