Whitney Port on wedding preparations: 'My workouts have become more regular'
The bride-to-be made the first move. When designer and TV personality Whitney Port started to develop feelings for Tim Rosenman, a producer on her reality series The City, she called him. “I got his phone number and made up some excuse why I needed to reach him,” Whitney tells Hello! “I knew because of our jobs that he wasn’t going to cross that line.”
But when it comes to planning their wedding, Tim is definitely pulling his weight. “He has been heavily involved,” says Whitney, 30, who hasn’t revealed the date of their nuptials. “It helps make the process easier for me. I don’t have to make all decisions on my own."

The dress, though, is entirely her call. Whitney – whose line, Whitney Eve, has been worn by Rihanna and Jessica Alba – says she hasn’t pinned down her look yet . “I could either choose super-relaxed and non-fussy or something really intricate and detailed. Too many options!”

We asked Whitney to share her wedding prep routine , and it turns out the West Coast native is one laid-back bride-to-be.
Congratulations on your upcoming
wedding. How are you preparing
for the big day?
My workouts have
become more regular. I grew up
in an athletic family, so I’ve always
stayed pretty active. My motto is
“everything in moderation.” I’ve
been working out five times a week
and do a mix of spin and yoga. I try to eat as
healthy as possible, but indulge and enjoy
when I want to.
Do you and Tim exercise together?
He joins
me whenever he can. When we first started
dating, we would try to go to the gym together
and he hated it. Slowly, he’s come around. We
also love to cook together. It’s a fun way to
relax and hang out.
How did you know that Tim was right for you?
Gosh, he just makes me laugh harder than
anybody does. We just get each other on a very
unspoken level.

What advice have your married friends given you?
Just to enjoy every moment and try not
to get too stressed and caught up on details
that don’t matter.
How do you keep stress in check?
I always keep things in perspective. Almost two years
ago, my father passed away and so I’ve dealt
with a good amount of grief. Now I realize
that life is too short to worry about the things
that are actually exciting.
We watched you on The Hills and then The City.
Have you ever thought about a return to TV?
I wouldn’t be opposed to it, but my focus is on
growing my clothing line, evolving as a designer
and now planning my wedding.
