Josh Brolin is making an honest woman of his former assistant, Kathryn Boyd, according to his spokesperson, who confirmed the news to Us Weekly. It is believed that the Oscar nominee, 47, proposed this past April.
The lovebirds are believed to have celebrated their engagement with a party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico earlier this month with a group dinner at a bar.
A source told Us Weekly: “They were with two tables worth of people so it was a big group, more than eight people.
“They had a fixed menu and it seemed like they were celebrating something… It looked like a party and it seemed celebratory.”
Naturally, there was plenty of love on display between the future bride and groom, with the source adding: “they were kissing each other a lot and had their arms around each other.”
The No Country For Old Men actor began dating Kathryn in March 2013 after she worked for two years as the star’s assistant, the weekly reported.
This will be the third marriage for Josh. He was previously married to Diane Lane for eight years, which came to a close in February 2013. One month later he found love with Kathryn.
The Men In Black 3 star’s first marriage to actress Alice Adair ended in 1994 after six years. They have two children together; son Trevor, 26, and daughter Eden, 20. Josh was also briefly engaged to Minnie Driver in 2001.
Later this year the handsome actor will appear in Sicario opposite British actress Emily Blunt and Benicio del Toro. The film tells the story of a police officer, played by Emily, who travels to Mexico with a pair of mercenaries to track down a drug lord.
