Mick Jagger 'delighted' to become a great-grandfather at age 70

Sir Mick Jagger may soon be the only great-grandfather still dancing and entertaining.

The Rolling Stones rocker's granddaughter, Assisi, is said to be expecting a child with her chef boyfriend, Alex.

The 21-year-old socialite is reportedly three months pregnant and due to give birth sometime in the new year.

"She and Alex are thrilled and broke the news to their immediate families last week," said a source.

"Jade was a little taken aback at first, not least because it means she will be a grandmother by the age of 42. She's expecting some ribbing from her showbiz pals."

The source added: "Mick is delighted and has no qualms about being a great grandfather. He's been joking about becoming a great, great, grandad and still performing!"

Assisi is the daughter of Jade Jagger, 41, Mick's eldest daughter with Bianca Jagger.

Mick is father to seven children between the ages of 14 and 42 and has four grandchildren.

His career has spanned over half a century, with the spritely frontman still touring with The Stones more than 50 years since they first formed in 1962.
