Brad and Angelina spend $250,000 on jewellery shopping spree

When it comes to lavishing gifts on Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt spares no expense.

The actor reportedly dropped more than $250,000 at a Hong Kong jewelry store earlier this month, buying pricey watches, bracelets and pendants for Angelina, his fiancée and partner of nearly a decade.

The couple -- who were reported to be the highest-earning Hollywood couple after taking home $55 million this year -- made the extravagant purchases at the Emperor Watch And Jewellery Store in Hong Kong. Among the items they splurged on: a silver bracelet, a Parmigiani watch (a Swiss watch brand renowned for its quality) and an 18-carat rose diamond pendant called “The Sunray Pendant.”

The pair are currently on opposite ends of the world; Angelina is in Syndey with four of their children as she directs her new film Unbroken, and Brad is in the U.K. shooting his WWII movie Fury with twins Knox and Vivienne in tow.

Angelina, 38, and Brad, 49, have three biological and four adopted children together. They first met on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith in 2004 and announced their engagement in April of 2012.
