Miley Cyrus was robbed of $100,000 in luxury goods on her birthday weekend

Miley Cyrus’ 21st birthday weekend did not got get off to a good start.

The singer was reportedly burglarized on Friday afternoon, the day before her milestone birthday on Nov. 23, with thieves securing more than $100,000 worth of items, including jewelry and high-end purses.

Although there were no signs of forced entry, sources say police are looking over the surveillance tapes for leads.

The engagement ring gifted by ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth was also reported to be part of the loot, but considering the ring is worth $250,000 – more than twice the stated sum – the bauble most likely went undetected by looters.

Despite what was an undoubtedly upsetting evening for the Bangerz singer, Miley continued her birthday celebrations as planned, performing at the American Music Awards on Sunday night and hosting a raucous post-awards party.
