Ke$ha thanks fans for their support from rehab: 'Ill be back soon and better than ever'

Ke$ha has thanked her fans for their love and support as she continues to battle an eating disorder.

The 26-year-old has been cut off from social media during her stay in a rehabilitation centre as she undergoes treatment. Despite the lack of Internet access, the singer still managed to sneak a message to her well-wellwishers.

Enlisting a friend to post a message from her official Twitter account, Ke$ha wrote, "THANK YOU. SOOO MUCH. I'm overwhelmed to tears by all of the love, letters, and support!! I'll be back soon and better than ever."

Her pal added, "Ohhh and she can't believe Timber is still number one! (expletive) YEAH animals! PARTY ON!!!!"

Ke$ha checked into a rehab centre near Chicago on 3 January for what her mother revealed was treatment for anorexia and bulimia.

Mum Pebe Sebert revealed that her daughter had "nearly died" as a result of the disorders.

"(The doctors) told me her blood pressure and sodium were so low they'd never seen that, except with someone who's had a heart attack to a stroke," she told People. "They said it was a miracle she hadn't dropped dead on stage."

Pebe, 57, claimed that Ke$ha's problems stemmed from "bullying" by her management team.

About a week after the singer checked herself into Timberline Knolls facility, her mum did the same, blaming post-traumatic stress disorder as the cause.
