'Seinfeld' reunion is happening 'very very soon' says Jerry Seinfeld

A Seinfeld reunion (of sorts) is happening “very, very soon,” says Jerry Seinfeld.

The comedian sparked reunion rumours when he was spotted with his costar, Jason Alexander, outside the now-iconic Tom’s Restaurant in New York City this week.

Fielding questions about the encounter on a radio interview on Thursday, Jerry admitted that the outing “was filmed” for a “secret project.”

Playing coy, the stand-up star was careful to neither confirm – nor deny – that it was an official Seinfeld reunion, though he did divulge that Jason was playing his George Costanza character in the piece, and that other Seinfeld characters were involved.

He further described the project as a “short-ish form,” and admitted Larry David was a part of it.

It’s not the first time that the Seinfeld cast has reunited. Jerry, Jason, Julia and Michael last appeared together on a Curb Your Enthusiasm episode in 2009.
