Who runs the world?
Forbes has released its annual list of Most Powerful Women, and a number of famous female faces, including Beyoncé, have made the cut.
Entertainers, world leaders, philanthropists and entrepreneurs are all ranked in the annual snapshot of the 100 women with the most impact, which factors in wealth, media presence and spheres of influence to determine which leading ladies have the most clout.

Female politicos head 2014’s list, with German Chancellor Angela Merkel taking the coveted top spot ahead of Hillary Clinton (no. 3) and Michelle Obama (no. 8).
Next up come media figures like Oprah Winfrey, Arianna Huffington, Anna Wintour and Marissa Mayer, who all feature prominently on the annual guide.

Celebrities have nudged their way into the top spots, too. The highest ranked star is Beyoncé, who sits pretty at number 17, followed by Ellen DeGeneres, Sofia Vergara, Angelina Jolie, Shakira, Lady Gaga and Gisele Bündchen.
