Pregnant Rachel Bilson went on a baby shopping spree in Los Angeles this week – and she could hardly keep her bump under wraps!
The actress, who is expecting her first child with longtime love, Canadian actor Hayden Christensen, headed to the Bel Bambini boutique – a favourite with celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Jessica Simpson, who have all been spotted visiting the store.
Rachel, 32, opted for a casual look, wearing a loose-fitting cream shirt and denim shorts. The Hart of Dixie star wrapped her brunette locks into a plait and completed her off-duty style with pink heeled shoes.
Browsing the aisles with her friend, Rachel seemed particularly taken by some baby girl items, although she did take a gander in both girl and boy sections.
"Rachel spent a long time holding onto a little pair of denim shorts with a bow on them – they were for a baby girl, but not newborn clothes," a source told Us Weekly.
The soon-to-be mum did stock up on more practical supplies, added the website, leaving with pacifiers, baby blankets and a car seat.
Rachel and her actor beau Hayden, 33, have talked about starting a family for some time now, and were "so excited" when they found out they were expecting.
"I definitely have family on the brain," Rachel said in an interview with Cosmopolitan in May 2013. "Having kids is something I want to see in my future — I hope."
The former O.C. actress and her partner, who have been together since 2007, met on the set of sci-fi movie Jumper. The couple got engaged on Christmas Day in 2008 but called off their wedding plans in August 2010. Rachel and Hayden reconciled just three months later.
The actress is not the only star who has been bee-lined for Bel Bambini. Apart from Rachel, Kim and Jessica, the luxury store's clientele include Adele, Jessica Alba, Halle Berry, Hilary Duff and Christina Aguilera.
When Kim was pregnant with her daughter North West last March, she made no secret of her visits to the boutique, posting about how her older sister and mom-of-two Kourtney had helped her "pick out the essentials".
