In an official statement, the 22-year-old pop singer was named the host of We Day Vancouver (Oct. 22) - the second time she’ll be collaborating with the global charity, which aims to inspire a youth movement.
Selena attended We Day Vancouver in 2013, but in lieu of hosting responsibilities the Spring Breakers actress spoke to the 16,000-person crowd, noting, “All I really want you to know is that you are changing the world.”
In Vancouver, Selena will be joined by Orlando Bloom (with whom her on again, off again boyfriend, Justin Bieber, reportedly had a tousle this summer), “Same Love” duo Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Shawn Mendes, Karl Wolf and more.
Over in Toronto, the bill is just as huge! MUCH’s Liz Trinnear is set to host, and she’ll be joined by Her Majesty Queen Noor of Jordan, astronaut and author Chris Hadfield, TV personality Katie Couric, Joe Jonas, Big Sean and the late Nelson Mandela’s grandson, Kweku Mandela.
