Jay Baruchel shoots a series of videos with his favourite NHL team: the Montreal Canadiens

Jay Baruchel is one of the Montreal Canadiens’ biggest fans – he was named an honourary captain and he is often seen sporting the team’s red, white and blue.

The 32-year-old actor stars in a promotional video for ‘Club 1909,’ a fan loyalty program designed to give back to Montreal Canadiens fans.

In the first video, Habs goaltender Carey Price awakens to find a star-struck Jay watching him sleep. A funny moment follows when Carey asks theUndeclared star if he's wearing his underwear.

Another video features forward and alternate Canadiens captain Max Pacioretty. In this hilarious short, Jay is stowed away in Max’s duffle bag with a strawberry-banana smoothie for the pro athlete.

‘Club 1909’ is afree, members-only service that will reward points for fan loyalty. Habs supporters will earn redeemable points by following the team on social media, attending games and watching the sport on television. Rewards will include memorabilia, game tickets and, eventually, experiences like watching the game from behind the bench.

Defenceman P.K. Subban is excited about the initiative, as it will offer the opportunity for players to connect with their fans.

“It’s a historic franchise and it’s a great way for fans to stay in touch with the team and interact with the players, so I’m all for it,” said P.K. in an official statement.

Four more videos are expected to be released by Saturday (Oct. 18).
