Wearing coordinating black-and-white ensembles, George Clooney and his gorgeous wife, Amal Clooney, turned heads as they stepped out for a dinner date over the weekend. The photogenic couple, who were married in September, appeared to be completely smitten with on another as they held hands while heading out to meet friends for a well-deserved night on the town.
Amal, 37, looked chic and sleek in a sleeveless white top and matching culottes. She injected a dose of colour into the outfit with a pair of statement yellow caged heels from Italian fashion house Versace.
Completing her look was a simple gold and silver clutch and a camel-hued cardigan thrown over her arm. Her hair was styled in loose waves and she rocked a smokey eye.
Amal and George were in New York, where they plan to be based for the foreseeable future.
George, 53, is busy filming his new movie Money Monster there, while London-based lawyer Amal recently announced she is joining Columbia University this spring as a visiting faculty member and as a senior fellow with the law school's Human Rights Institute.
"It is an honour to be invited as a visiting professor at Columbia Law School alongside such a distinguished faculty and talented student pool," Amal said in an official statement. "I look forward to getting to know the next generation of human rights advocates studying here."
Amal's impressive curriculum makes her the ideal candidate for the job. She has served as a senior adviser to Kofi Annan and represented WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in extradition proceedings. She has also handled numerous cases before the International Criminal Court and the European Court of Human Rights.
While she is lecturing, husband George will be at the nearby Kaufman Studios in Long Island, filming the Jodie Foster-directed movie, which also stars Julia Roberts and Dominic West. George stars in the thriller as a financial TV personality Lee Gates who is held hostage by a viewer who lost all of his money following a bad tip from Lee on his show.
