Top 5 celebrity prom crashers: Justin Bieber, Jessi Cruickshank and more

It was an epic night that the 2015 graduates of California's Chatsworth Charter High School aren't likely to forget - thanks to Justin Bieber! The pop star surprised the group of high-school seniors on Saturday (April 25) by showing up to their prom unannounced and even dancing with a handful of lucky fans.

Social media was buzzing immediately after the Canadian singer’s appearance, after which prom-goers uploaded video evidence of Justin’s revelry. The “As Long As You Love Me” crooner, 21, appeared to be in great spirits as he was swarmed by throngs of 17-year-old girls wearing prom dresses.

“I DANCED WITH @justinbieber AT MY PROM!” tweeted one excited teenager, who shared a video of her and Justin as they hit the dance floor together.

"Justin Bieber showing up at our prom? I think we know who had the best prom this year," the Chatsworth senior class’s Twitter account wrote on Sunday.

It seems that the feeling was mutual, as the pop star replied: "@CCHSRoyals always wanted to go to prom. Thanks for having me. #promcrasher.”

Justin isn’t the only star who has made up for missing the high-school milestone by crashing someone else’s prom. Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez famously turned up at a Toronto high school’s prom in 2009 after attending the premiere of their film, Princess Protection Program, while Katy Perry crashed a formal dance in Australia that happened to be at her hotel. Katy reportedly heard the prom's DJ playing her hit song, “California Gurls," and felt compelled to join in the festivities!

Other stars, like Rihanna and Jessi Cruickshank, have taken the prom escapades one step further, accepting dates from adorably lovestruck fans.
